| "My wife and I have just returned from our 6th holiday at the Dona Sylvia and I have to say that the Hotel gets better each timewe go.
The staff are always there to help and are very polite, even though some guests are not always as polite as they could be.
Our accomadation has always been clean and comfortable, and the food has got better and better over the last 6 years. I would gladly recommend the Dona Sylvia to anyone and not to be swayed by adverse comments from people who expect everything to be perfect, they must remember that they are in India, not the Savoy in London, and it does not cost as much!!!" |

| "Just returned from the Dona Sylvia after having a wonderful 2 weeks. The flight with Thomson Fly was very good no delays etc. The room we had in one of the bungalows was excellent, generous sized room with enormous bed and large shower area. It was also cleaned to a high standard. It is in a lovely location surrounded with gardens and just a short walk to the beach. The beach was amazing when we arrived and had morning and pm walks everyday. The beach dogs are amazingly gentle and friendly so do not be afraid of them!! The pool area of the hotel is fabulous, lovely warm water and never very busy. Daz one of the pool boys was fab as though was all the staff, so friendly. The food was very good, although after a week it gets a little samey. Food at the Mama Mia grill of an evening was excellent with lovely service. Weather for the whole 2 weeks was wall to wall sunshine. Overall an excellent holiday and we will certainly return next year." |

"I had read lots of reviews re the Dona Sylvia and was feeling quite confident that we had chosen the right hotel and I wasn't disappointed.
I was with a group of 28 - family and friends to celebrate my 60th birthday - we had a wonderful meal at the outdoor a la carte resident - Navin the manager was very good and helped maked it a night to remember.
I agree with all the comments re service, friendliness, eating out in the beach shacks and the restaurants in the village. Loved the Riverview restaurant and Weltons & Blue Oasis beach shacks. My party loved the Karaoke nights!!" |

| "We stayed at the Dona Sylvia from the 31st dec for three weeks, our first trip there but hopefully not our last. The staff could not do enough for you, the food was excellent my girlfriend who is a vegetarian has never had so much choice. The beach is a one minute walk, we used the oasis beach shack (the first on your left) and ate and drank there all day and it never came to more than a tenner. Though the hotel is all inclusive i would recommend you eat out as the food is excellent and it is so cheap! I would say the majority of guests had previously stayed at Dona Sylvia, so i can highly recommended this hotel and resort of south goa, where everyone is friendly and welcoming, and we will go again." |
